Sharon Kelley serves as the Department Chair of Revenue Cycle, in which she oversees all revenue cycle functions, including patient access, billing, coding, accounts receivable, cash, payer relations, diversified businesses, automation, and application support. Sharon first joined Mayo Clinic in 2019 as the Chief Financial Officer for the Mayo Clinic Health System.
Prior to her work at Mayo Clinic, Sharon served in various leadership roles, including as Chief Financial Officer for Gateway Health Plan in Pittsburgh, PA, and as Chief Financial Officer of MetroHealth in Cleveland, OH. Sharon also consulted for numerous health system clients during her tenure at Booz Allen Hamilton.
Sharon received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Duquesne University in 1981 and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989. She is a Certified Public Accountant and an adjunct Professor at Georgetown University and the University of Pittsburgh.
