Joe Keckan is Vice President of Operations at Medical Mutual. Medical Mutual is the oldest and largest insurance carrier in the state of Ohio. In his role, Joe works with leaders across the organization and healthcare providers to develop solutions to industry challenges.
Prior to Medical Mutual, Joe spent over 15 years in revenue cycle at Deloitte Consulting and Cleveland Clinic. Joe has experience in an array of healthcare settings, including critical access, faith, and academic based systems, along with national dental practices. Joe spent over a decade at Cleveland Clinic, most recently as the Enterprise’s executive leader of 3,000+ revenue cycle caregivers and continuous improvement and tech transformation efforts.
He earned a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University.
Joe and his wife Erin live in the Cleveland area with their four children, Melody, Maggie, Allie, and Tommy.
